Understand Flash on and off camera.
This course guides the student through the use of flash both on and off camera. It’s worth noting that whilst on camera flash is taught the course mainly covers its use away from the camera.

Learn the Science of Flash - It will change the way you use flash forever!
Learn and fully understand the science of flash. Incidentally the science of flash is worth knowing as it will give you the confidence to use it more and more.
Don’t worry though; the science bit only takes 30 minutes to learn.
"Practical 'hands on' shooting - not sitting in a classroom learning theory"
Learn and fully understand TTL and Manual flash modes. When to and when not to use them! We further explain the use of high speed sync, bouncing flash, and using flash as a fill light, but this course mainly teaches the methods of off camera flash.

This is my favourite course to teach as the students very quickly produce results they are blown away with. Simply learning to take control of your flash on and off camera will have results you can take away and use effortlessly. Some of our students use this technique to generate an income too!

How it works?
This one day course starts with an introduction and explanation of how your flash works. It’s TTL and Manual modes are covered at length to ensure you fully understand its positive and negative workings. About an hour into the day you’ll start shooting and I guarantee you’ll quickly get to grips with your new best mate, your Flash!
As the day progresses we’ll teach you how to get the best out of your flash indoors and out. You’ll learn how to shoot in TTL and Manual. You will understand how to use your flash to mix ambient and flash commonly known as fill!
Best of all we will teach you how to be really creative with your flash gun. Know as Off Camera Flash! OCF is really simple to use (when you know how!) and the results are stunning. Take a look at the example on this page.
We will also teach you in this day how to recreate a studio at home for a fraction of the price of setting up a professional studio and yet the results will be exactly the same – I promise you!
