Wedding Portrait Photography Training
Wedding Portrait Photography Training - Our Location Shoot Day for our 5 Day Wedding course last week was at the very beautiful Ripley Castle near Harrogate. Mother Nature was getting in on the act big style today, making sure that our students got to experience just what to expect from the good old British weather. We had all four seasons in one day, but it was the snow showers that were the talking point of the day.
The interior of the East Wing was where we started our morning shoot, bridal preparations and individual shots of both the bride and groom, followed by a lovely Ripley Castle Lunch.
Our afternoon session included the bride’s arrival, followed by the first outdoor shots within the Gardens and the Castle arches.
Wedding Portrait Photography Training - Although the weather was very changeable we managed to spend a considerable time outside, the students were able to take some great shots, whilst learning how to get the best out of the adverse weather conditions.
We returned inside for a quick coffee and then proceeded to the oldest part of the Castle for the internal shots, the Grand Staircase and Drawing Room.

We rounded off the day with a brisk walk down to the Lake and Jetty for the shot of the day. Our models on the day Jenna & Gautier were superstars, and smiled throughout the whole day...even though they were freezing cold!
Wedding Portrait Photography Training - This was a great day, with all students expressing what a fantastic insight it was on how a real wedding day works.
