IMMERSE YOURSELF IN NATURE PHOTOGRAPHY ALL DAY!

Farne Islands Workshop - Seabird wildlife experience!

Farne Islands Workshop

There are more than 100,000 seabirds that make the Farne Islands their home each year. The most iconic of them, of course, is the Puffin. With its bright orange beak, it's more like a parrot than a seabird. It's almost comic-like! It is a member of the auk family, alongside guillemots and razorbills which you will also be able to photograph.

FAQ's

£50 deposit secures your place. Payments can be made over the phone, by bank transfer or online. Just call the studio and speak to Paula 07941 003683.

What skill level do I have to be?
All skills are welcome, beginner to advanced – With such a small group I can cater for all levels. It’ll almost be like a 1-2-1

5 - We restrict the numbers to five to ensure you get as much tuition as possible.

How fit do I need to be?
Not fit at all – All areas are very accessible with just a 1-minute walk.

Is my camera good enough?
Is it an SLR Camera? then yes – all of the above could have been taken on a £250 DSLR the results would have been the same, GUARANTEED!

What Equipment will I need?
Your Camera – Tripod (optional but recommended)

What if the weather is bad?
As a Nature Photographer, inclement weather is just something we cannot predict. The best planning in the world can't allow for adverse weather conditions, especially when planning so far in advance. The weather is just something that we as photographers must be prepared for. Because of this, we DO NOT GUARANTEE that we will be able to visit all of the Islands. Landings are at the discretion of the skipper!

no such thing as bad weather only bad clothing!

How much deposit and when do I pay the balance?
A £50 deposit is required to secure your place on the course – the balance is due 4 weeks prior to the 1st day of training
